Jenni Adkins Horne

a Birmingham native, Jenni Horne spent the first 11 years after art school as an art educator, art studio owner and finally a retail owner before coming home to what she knew: being an artist. Jenni has captured coming home through whimsical paintings of trucks, bikes, churches, homes, nests and more. Images that, through the years, have left an imprint on what coming home means to her. Jenni’s paintings are either built-up with an amalgamate to form texture and are then painted, or are a mixture of encaustic and paint.
