Over the past twenty years, paper artist, avid gardener and bee keeper, Katy DeMent has filled a plethora of notebooks with sketches and plans for wacky inventions. Some have, some may, and some shouldn’t come to life: “the Self Recycling Glue-Gun”,“the Braille Bra”, "the Handmade Paper Pet Coffin”, just to name a few. This show features Katy DeMent’s wacky inventions as well as block prints illustrations of her ideas. Some of these ideas have come to realization in the form of art and areoffered for sale like "waxed paper lighting”, “Plantable Seed Cards”, "Throw and Grow", etc... .
