ANDREW COST
Andrew was born October 9, 1964 in Pensacola, Florida. His artistic ventures began as a child working alongside his father, Lavelle, who also worked as an artist and graphic designer. Soon he was working
for his elementary teachers who would sneak him
out of classes to do various projects around school. He graduated from Auburn University in 1987 with a BFA in graphic design and illustration
and from Stephen F. Austin State University in
2000 with an M.A. in sculpture and painting.
He currently resides in Montevallo, Alabama
with his super hot wife Hollie and their 2 boys,
Eli and Campbell. Andrew�s current images are a
culmination of his 45 years living on this planet
taking visual notes. Layers of images effervesce
upon the paper and panels. Classical imagery
along with frivolous interests and common motifs
combine to make a visual soup we all consume. So, bring your appetite and indulge your critical eye because art is candy for the soul.
